Toby’s other mummy is a piano/singing teacher. He doesn’t seem to mind. 🙂

Day 37 – Concert Day

Today was concert day. What a great day it always is. It’s not just a good opportunity for Lara’s students (young and old, or “mature” as she likes to call it) to get actual performance practice, but a day that allows them to be proud of their musical accomplishments. We had two separate concerts, a packed house (literally) both times.

Unfortunately for me, it’s not a great time to practice my “people photography” as there is simply no room to move around for candid shots. I stand in the doorway and shoot from the same angle for every shot. It’s not about me practicing today, it’s about capturing some memories of a beautiful day.

I could only upload a few photos for the blog, but I can assure you that each and every performer was beautiful and amazing. A great day overall.
