My 365 project will definitely run long, but I’m determined to finish it. Now that Toby is getting a little bigger, I can take him on explorations with me, so I’m hoping to get back into frequent photo adventures soon. Here is one from our evening adventure.
I don’t think Common Bronzewings tend to get much appreciation, as they are a species of pigeon. I’m actually quite fond of them and appreciate the fact that they are happy to clean up the mess left on the ground from the messy parrots that drop seed everywhere.
We sat for several minutes watching the surfers at Point Lookout. For the most part, they didn’t do anything exciting…the water was such a beautiful blue and the occasional passing by of a dolphin, sea turtle or manta ray made it all worthwhile.
Simply because I’m a bit of a nerd, I played around with different ways to catalog my bird photo collection. This is one example that I’ve come up with. Next step will be to print it and see how it comes out.
Thankfully a friend texted me and told me about the eclipse tonight. I quickly ran outside and was able to catch the last part of it. I snapped a couple of hand held shots before it was over. Thanks for the heads up Sarah!
