What’s the world coming to that you can’t even enjoy the evening news without some creeper peaking in your windows?!? In this case (thankfully) it’s just a big cane toad. I laid on the floor in front of the window and took his portrait for him, just before he became disinterested and bounced away.
Shooting through glass can present problems with reflections. Sometimes reflections can be fun and artsy, but in this case I simply wanted to portray the toad peering in on us, without any other distractions. I used the outside light as well as indirect inside light and got really close to the window to make this possible.
I should start a separate blog just for animals that look into our windows. You’d be surprised how often this happens with all different types of critters.
